Looking back over 17 years in the wedding and events industry, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
We started in 2009 with a set of DJ decks, a £10,000 loan and a lot of naive enthusiasm. Today, Twenty 20 Event Entertainment is a full-scale event specialist with a warehouse base at Chatham Dockyard, multi-vehicle logistics and a massive inventory of products.
People often look at a business that’s been around for nearly two decades and assume it got there through pure luck or non-stop success. The truth is much more human: you don’t survive 17 years without learning a lot of hard lessons along the way.
In our business, we’ve had as many challenges as we’ve had successes. But we learned early on that a setback isn’t the end of the story, it’s where real growth begins.
